Paper in rolls is heavy and yet very delicate cargo.
Facing this challenge, our company has developed special and dedicated solutions for paper manufacturers aimed at accelerating the processes of loading, unloading and transport of paper in rolls.
Guided by the conviction of ‘Innovation in action,’ we present our KRONE and KÖGEL paper liner semi-trailers; thanks to their special longitudinal rails with a system of eyelets for the adaptation of securing wedges and a double floor, they allow unbelievably quick, horizontal loading of paper rolls and horizontal distribution of the rolls at any place on the semi-trailer, which is not possible with ordinary semi-trailers from our competitors. An interesting innovative solution in these semi-trailers is the second floor that unfolds halfway through the semi-trailer height; it allows loading of different goods, for example, palletised goods. The speed of loading and unloading is greatly influenced by the fact that our semi-trailers are also equipped with Joloda skates, which allows the driver to load and unload the goods very quickly without the need to use a roll conveyor or ramp.

Storage of paper
Due to its properties, paper is very sensitive to all external factors. Therefore, in addition to appropriate packaging, it requires storage in warehouses offering suitable conditions.
These premises must be dry, ventilated and free of any odours that could affect the paper. Glob-Trans ITiS offers storage space, where the surface temperature never drops below 14 °C and where humidity remains around 60-65%. Conditions at our warehouse allow us to protect the paper against humidity, moisture, contamination and damage. Out of concern for the professionalism and safety of stored paper rolls, we made sure that even windows and skylights are arranged in such a way that sunlight does not fall on and cause discolouration of the stored paper. Our halls intended for the storage of pallets or rolls of paper are also rodent-proof and equipped with fire-fighting equipment conforming to ISO and TÜV Rheinland standards.
